This is what a member of Rennteam posted:
"It's right across the street from my dealer. My salesman told me that the accident took place when the technician was taking the car out for a pre-delivery inspection!!"
I wonder what the ex-future owner said...

That comment has been used by some very, very talented drivers that professionaly race for a living about some of their own incidents. I give someone alot of respect to admit if they made a mistake.

It doesn't look wrecked, and it could happen very easily if there was any slippery
conditions and any "liberal use of the loud pedal". Car is extremely responsive and
demands the utmost in respect and it will deliver uncompromised performance.

I was the one that took the photo in the first post. A friend of mine that sells Porsche's at Braman in WPB told me a porter was taking it out for gas and made a booboo. He also told me they had an identical one in the showroom to sell to Champion (at MSRP) to satisfy their customer.

From my view, the difficulty was not the damage from it being in the culvert, it would be from the removal. Aside from airlifting it out, I couldn't see any way to get it without doing damage.

they could probably do it the same way they do with open wheel race cars (f1, CART, IRL) and just have a tow truck with an extendable crane part lift the car straight up while 3-4 ppl push it and shove it in various directions to keep it from konking against the tow truck.
