Unhappy Wrecked Signal Yellow GT

Not sure if this is a repost, got the link from Flat-6.net. A trully said sight
Is this car really that much of a beast or do people get carried away with their supercars?

I feel sorry for whoever's car it is. Can you imagine having to relive that crash 24 hours a day. Must be terrible. Hopefully the driver is doing better then the car.

could the car be the standard "fayonce" yellow, and not the custom signal yellow?
hate to see that happen to any CGT, under any circumstances, we all have made bonehead
manuvears in our cars and this could have been anything that caused it.
m.k.

I know of only one Signal Yellow CGT, and it's safely in my garage.

The crashed car is Fayence Yellow, and there may be quite a few of them.

Wow, that is a sad sight. $7000 per CGT wheel? Looks like the owner is buying another.

Don't know, but let me tell you that what he's doing now - he's driving a duplicate same color yellow replacement model that he just took delivery of at Sonnen Porsche (which is where the photos of the wrecked car were taken - the wrecked car is still sitting in the back of Sonnen's parking lot). Insurance paid off and he's back on the road with his new clone. Must be NICE to have too much money!!

That's the downside of CF, one crash and you're looking at a bunch of cracked resin. I'm beginning to dislike CF....

I'm surprised at how easily people get excited about an exotic car crash. Carried away? A beast? Come on guys, have you not ever spun or got a little sideways in your 944's or 911's on the street? I know that I have and I also know that in some cases, had there been something hard nearby, I also would be on some wrecked exotic site. It doesn't take a whole lot to do serious damage to a nice car, even just a minor mistake that puts you over a curb can do serious damage. Let's give the Carrera GT drivers a break, it is a 605hp car afterall!

Wow. That is terrible. My wife and I were just in Napa for a week and this car was sitting outside of a resturant we were eating at when we left. It was stunning, then...... :-(((( Hate to see that.
