Default CGT for sale

Edited by Admin: As a paid Rennlist Member, you are welcome to post occasional "for sale" messages as long as you are selling your own cars and/or items. Please refer to chapter 12 on the Rennlist Charter. Unless you are a sponsor, selling cars for or through your business is not acceptable. yes, new 04s. 05s are still bringing more than that. $400k for that 2800 miles example is not likely to happen even if in perfect condition.

btw, i'm sure it's not a commercial endeavor because you guys are "helping him sell it" for free, right?

Where? When I actually tried to buy a new untitled 05 recently, I wasn't able to find a real, new car, without some kind of story or strings attached. Also, just because a car is on ebay, doesn't mean it's really for sale for that price. The car mysteriously is off auction, or the dealer's owner doesn't want to sell, or something. Ebay is often used by dealers as a lead generator, and to test the waters.

I did end up buying an 05, for a discount, but not close to $400k. I think once the US allocations are done, and enthusiasts enter the market, the price on this car is going to stabilize a bit.

The dealer in Shreveport/Bossier, Louisiana (Moffitt I believe) has a new '04 for sale. The Buy-It-Now price on eBay was $414k, but I'd reckon they'd go lower.

That's the only new '04 that I've seen for sale online, but others might have more info.

Actually, I just like the idea that it's on our website, so no, we are not making any money on this. That's what HE wants for it.

He just bought it in November 04 and is only looking to unload it because he needs some funds for a new business venture.

Wow, those are good prices. Can I ask where they came from? Were they already at dealers, or where they in production?

From a Pcar dealer and they are already produced and are either in stock or in route to the dealership.
