Default why is this piece different colors?

I was looking at a carrera gt at the dealership recently and I noticed that this piece (wheel nut?) was different colors. Red on the left, blue on the right. Why is that?

so you put them on the correct side given their threading.

Ah, that's the best answer I could come up with. I wasn't sure if there was another reason...

colour coding prevents the threading from being put on the wrong side, as these are centerlock, wrong side = wheels coming off

happens sometimes at le mans. very funny, as the entire team looks at the corresponding wheel man.
