Default 05 GT

My friend has an option to buy a 05 GT. The car is sitting on the dealers floor. My question (his question) is what if any at all kind of discount could he expect in this situation. Like I said the car is sitting on the show room floor with no real offers at this time. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

i think most of them are just starting to get interested near $380k, but a normal dealer discount off MSRP probably won't be enough to entice them.

I also just cancelled on my '05 silver/charcoal that's due to arrive in Boston in a few weeks. In the end I couldn't justify the price (~$30k off msrp) for the value and difficulty of driving much around here (poor roads, short season). I also couldn't get past the huge bid/ask spread between new and used prices. From what I can tell the value drops by ~$75k once the ignition has been switched on. Not that I'm a Ferrari guy, but 2 1/2 F430's sounds more appealing than one GT.

yeah, except you can't get one without a premium. right now, they're about $100k over list (or about $300k). the 430 is a lot of car, but not that much car.
