It has been implied, but now its official... paint to sample and interior to sample are both available for 05 & 06 CGT's. Exterior paint to sample and interior to sample are $15.500US each and the exterior color has to be tested and approved.

i knew it, the CGT is just an overpriced boxster!

all the equivalent options on the 9X6 series cost about 30% of what the options on the CGT cost. thats insane

9000$ for painted brake calipers? - it doesnt cost more than 200$ to do this. labor AND materials. thats insane.

we all knew porsche's options were rediculous, but this is just outright rape.

i really, really like porsche.

But that's just ridiculous. Why can't options on supercars be equivalent to those of lesser models?
Just because they know the customer can afford it doesn't make it alright.

Red leather on the SLR is a $9,900 option.
