I hear the one in philly is at 550 K.
Here's a plan for anyone interested..buy the east coast car and I'll drive it across the country at no charge.
Save a cool 100 K and no shipping charges. What a deal.

Yup. The cheapest I've seen or heard an Enzo selling for is $1.2 million, up to $1.4 million. (That's double and then some!)

Sure, that's the market value on the Enzo right now. But, can you still get a new one from a dealer like you could a Carrera GT? No. The production was sold-out a long time ago, and they didn't make 1500 of them. IMO, other than shear performance, the Enzo and the Carrera GT cannot be compared.

the primary factor for the enzo's massive resalability is that to buy one, you had to be INVITED by ferrari.

thus, even if you had the cash and the intent, you were SOL, thus, many people who were invited and not interested, still took advantage of the opportunity to double their money instantly.

I met a very nice guy name William also has a Silver CGT in LA, I assume that's not his right.....because I remember he already had over 2000 miles on his CGT. One more thing he also bought his CGT from Rusnak Westlake

This car is from rusnak pasadena. as of 6/3, it had less than 20 miles on the clock.

How did he get it home? They usually have more than that when delivered from the factory.

Enzos going for what they are because they are the ultimate in poseur jewelry right now. They'll tank just like the F40. From Autoweek this week under the "Market" section the profile a recent F40 sale:

"Sold at $243029. The F40 stands as the ultimate bad-boy Ferrari of its era (sounds familiar). Despite a list price of less than $300k, F40s regularly changed hands for more than $1 million when new (sounds familiar). Perfect zero-miles cars can bring more than $300k. With its relative high mileage (18k in 15 years - how PATHETIC this is high mileage), this car brought a correct price."

Yes, we must not have any miles on the jewelry. BTW, this "high mileage" 18k in 15 years example just had its "$13k" major service in 02.

Ferrari made about 400 Enzo's for the entire world compared to 1500 for the CGT. In my opinion anyone who thinks they are going to get 200 over sticker for a CGT is competely unrealistic. I suggest they check the resale value of the 176 993 TT S cars built in 1997 if they want a reference for Porsche collector values.
And yes I know the 1997 TT S is not near the supercar the CGT is. But 176 is less than 750 or so of the CGT's coming here.

Ben in LJ

I believe that F50s (349 produced) rather that F40s (1300 produced) would provide a more relevant comparison to the Enzo (399 produced).
Low mileage F50s are selling for $675,000 to $750,000 versus an initial purchase price of around $500,000.
The F40 suffered from comparative overproduiction, as will the Carrera GT.
