Does anyone actually drive their GT?
I stopped at my local Porsche dealer yesterday to see a GT they got in. It is an amazing car. It's bigger than I thought it would be, but what really struck me is how low it is to the ground. I live in Pittsburgh, and there is no way that car could be driven anywhere around this area. Any thoughts I had of getting one were gone once I saw how low the car is. So I'm wondering, is anyone actually driving these things? If so, where???

This has probably been noticed before and I missed it (I stop by Carrera GT occasionally), but Les Q. and Les B. have two of the best stables I have ever seen.... I am going to change my name I think! I wonder if Les Nesman drives a C GT?
Do either one of you plan on tracking the car?

Forklift,
If I get one it would not arrive until 2006. I asked to go to the back of the line to see how the car evolves and to see what the competition has to offer. There are some pretty credible rumors that Dodge is going to unveil a 600 HP street coupe in September. I would be happy to save 375K and debate Les B. and Ben every evening.

I see a silver CGT around here, on Mulhuland. Anyone here? Ben, you still up for a ride?
By the way, a friend of mine knows some rich teen actress that just purchased a CGT. Her thoughts on the car: "the pedals are weird"

There really is NO comparison at all. The X50 is tame compared to the CGT. It (the X50) could easily be used as a daily driver. It ahs a useable trunk and is usable in all weather conditions. The CGT is pure fun, totally impractical, makes exceptional noises, takes some getting used to the clutch, and you NEVER want to put the tops on. I could go one, but really, you can't think of them in the same breath. No disparagement to to X50 (or any other P-car) is intended, but the CGT is a totally different animal.
