917 Concept - WOW!!!
This falls into the category of "cant afford it regardless" and "wouldn't qualify if I could" but WOW. So many new cars and WOW is too often used, but this seems truly special. It says it will be on display starting in May. As far as a blend of beauty and historical significance to the brand, this checks all the boxes for me!

Odd time and odd way to intro it. Obviously it could have been on the floor at Geneva, did I miss it in the pics?
It would be the most significant street car Porsche ever produced I believe.
Price point? Maybe just over the 918, maybe 1.1M-1.25M$? At that number my guess (means nothing) is that 500 units would sell out overnight, based on the Ford GT numbers that 1,000 might go OK (918 struggled alittle to get there at the end) and anything over that would be difficult.

im not a hyper car buyer... but the nostaglia in this concept has my attention.
If a small town average joe were to see a hypercar of current offerings roll through town it would be a typical reaction.

I disagree with you bud on everything other than 917 is the right number to sell.

there is enough arab oil money in front of harrods alone to pay 10m for 917 of them. price is irrelevant for a car like this. 918 is pedestrian in comparison and porsche actually reached out to me personally to buy one. wish i did at 850k worth double that now. they underprice their special cars. learn from ferrari

I’m not sure about how this car is going to be priced with the new 1k hp Ferrari at 500k
