I am in the ordering cycle and well. The 4.0 is a given but I have a few other options that i am struggling with.....

They highly recommend the Ohlins but I don't have anything to compare it to although I loved the demo when I drove it.
I think I want the 5 speed, I don't plan on trying to break any speed records. Anyone drive the 5 and 6 speed?
I think I want the touring seatx with the 8 way adjustments. Any thoughts or experience with the various seats. I hate the carbon seats in the GT3RS if that lets you know where my mind is at.

Congrats on the order! Have the Ohlins and love them, also have the 6speed but never driven the 5. For seats I initially planned on the touring seat, but after sitting in both went with the “track”/bucket seat. Don’t mind the carbon buckets in the Gt3s but the singer buckets are far more comfortable.

Ohlins are 100 percent the way to go. They are literally perfect for the car...actually more comfortable in the soft mode and then the stiffer mode is perfect if you're going to do a track day or even really hustle it around smooth roads.

As far as 5-6 speed...my first was a 5 speed...my second is a 6 speed. The action is noticeably nicer/slicker on the 6 speed and the gearing is better overall IMHO. It's worth it even though they are tough to come by now actually.

Seats wise...the singer buckets are great, the touring seats are OK, but I actually had more back stiffness after getting out of a touring car for a while than any of the cars with the buckets...granted this can be very personal...so thats a tough one to gauge honestly. I will say the Singer buckets are more comfy than the RS buckets (which unanimously are the worst of the sports car bucket seats anyways comfort wise...anyways)

Are you saying the 6 speeds are harder to come by?

Yeah, G50s are pretty tough, obviously they will manage one for you...but they are definitely rarer. Actually they would probably be relieved to hear if someone wanted the 5 spd, its that uncommon as a spec haha.

Quick clarification... The Singer hammered for $775,000.

The all-in price was $857,000.

Would you ever consider a Singer at 750-800k?
