I think the 360CS is more special than the scud or 16M for the reason that it was more a street tuned car based on the racer vs a Riced up street car made to look racier.
The Speciale is a really cool car and to me due to the power etc just that much better than the 430 versions which don't feel as stout. The dual clutch feels a lot more "built" and strong. I would much rather gamble on a 15k mile ownership of 458 SP vs 430 Scud.
That said the 360 does have the best looking and cleanest lines. Red alcantara and a flag stripe on a black car would be my ideal.

Given everything you've owned, I respect the opinion. 430 definitely the ugly duckling between the three. Looks are subjective and the Scud is not BAD looking but the CS and Speciale are pretty striking.
On drive/performance, one hand the Scud/16m could be considered the "Goldilocks" between CS and Speciale or the compromise that didn't do either end of spectrum as well. Idk, but I'll wait to pass final judgement until I've owned them all. The hard part will be giving up the very well cared for CS I currently own. And, looking past my bias on looks: which would be 1) CS 2) Speciale 3) S-Aperta 4) Scud 5) 16m. 1-3 being pretty tight grouped on good looks imo. 4 and 5 each have bigger gaps for me visually, to the point it's borderline negative factor. 5 could be the Goldilocks performer of them all (with that note behind head in a drop top!), but my least fav looker by far.

Ok guys, joining your misery. I've had my Ferrari 16M for quite a while. Really liked the 16M a lot, had a great sound and the Superfast 2 F1 gearbox was a kick in the pants. Reluctantly, selling the 16M but I'm buying the CGT. I've had the CGT on my bucket list for a long time. No more room in the garage so something had to go. Next weekend, Silver /Ascot 1300 mile, bringing it home with a 250 mile drive. Unfortunately here in Texas, it will be 100+ degrees for the drive. Did the PPI everything looks great, oil change, brake flush, new tires. I think I'm set!!!
Heard about the camshaft issues, are there any signs of this problem, other than an incidental finding on the major service?

Must have been hard to give up!
I’ve got a 16M with 18k miles on it. It’s such a different driving experience from the CGT. I love both. You will love it!

Well, finally got it home last week, 300 miles of fun! Very different drive, even with new tires the car feels twitchy. Guess I better be smooth on my steering input.
the mechanical sounds from the drivetrain are just overpowering, kinda of clunky below 3000RPM but above 4000RPM its very nice. After 4 hr drive, the clutch is just brutal, heavier than I thought initially, . When I got back home and drove the 911R, I was surprised how light the clutch was in the 911R. Anyway, more fun ahead getting used to a truly iconic sportscar. Trying to remember was my 16M red or black? just kidding will miss the 16M, but geez what a replacement!
starting out 102 degrees at noon.
Home safe and sound, after all day trip!

Thanks. Always like stopping at Buckees. Clean easy to get in and out, great snacks and stuff to eat. That brand has grown tremendously. Maybe the symbol has something to do with it, everyone likes beavers!

Not a lot i miss about Houston, but I miss buckees! (And plethora of good MX food). Best damn gas station chain in the world. I've stopped at the one on I-10, on way to find some decent twisty roads out west many-a-time, including in the CGT.
