Radiator screens

Are there radiator screen protectors for CGT similar to 997.1 gt3/RS? I checked rennline where they sell the 997's but didn't see anything.

I had some custom made by Rennline. Took off the CGT nose and shipped it to them.

It came back with 3 screens (R/C/L) installed. Perfect.

Great info. I'll reach out to them. Makes me nervous having that cf and radiators exposed.

Porsche Reading in the UK make a set for the cgt, talk to the PRG guys who take care of the cars. (I think you mentioned you were now based in the UK but unsure if the car you need them for is here)

I'm living in UK right now by Car is in US. I'll reach out to them regardless.

After doing a bunch of research, I used Porsche of Reading as well. I'm based in the US, but contacted them and got the materials and instructions sent over. They use very high quality materials. My CGT mechanic has lots of experience fabricating things like this, so it was easy for him to do (although time consuming). Turned out beautifully. Looks totally OEM, and is easily reversible without any cutting or damage to original bumper.

Ok. Thanks. Sounds like a good choice.

Porsche Retail Group ie Porsche GB. Ask for Riccardo Scarpa or Andy Keywood.

Jrtaylor9 03-01-2018 12:33 PM

Gotcha. Thanks.

Jrtaylor9 03-14-2018 01:30 PM

PRG is willing to make a few for me to take delivery in the UK and ship back to the US. How many people would be interested? They don't have a price for me yet but the initial estimate was around £500 per set. Obviously I'd negotiate for the best price especially if we get a group buy.

If anyone knows of a US alternative, let me know.

Carlos993 03-14-2018 05:04 PM

I am in for one set please, U.S. delivery.

C4S_fan 03-15-2018 03:16 AM

Same here (Delivery in Canada or the US)

Johnb55 03-21-2018 11:20 AM

Great! Count me in for a set. US east coast.

Jrtaylor9 03-21-2018 12:19 PM

I'll call back this week. I have one more possibility in US I'm also chasing.
