not very accurate article re the car and makes no mention of how the engine used was basically a trick . Hoelscher and his team tricked the bean counters , this engine was not ever meant to be used on the road

Great thread and videos! Beautiful car!

What other cars have you owned and what would be your hierarchy of enjoyment?

This is difficult, let’s break it up into two.

Best manual car driven: It’s neck to neck with the Ferrrari F40 and CGT. Some would say that the McLaren F1 would take the title, however I’ve never personally driven one, nor could I own one.

Overall the CGT is an awesome car, it’s naturally aspirated which is a huge plus, raw, built like a race car, sounds phenomenal and just feels so good. Quite possibly one of the greatest manual drivers car in existence.

Some of the cars I’ve driven/own are; F50, Enzo, every RS, Dino’s, 250, Stradale, Scuderia, Speciale and the list goes on.

My word the CGT stands out the most overall.

I’ve just received the car after a 3 week long wait for its annual service.

Time to bring back the shine and have it ready for Concours.

The Detailer has been hard at work today. The left side of the engine bay carbon has been polished and the right side is as was. You can see the difference.

Looks great. Can I ask who does your detailing - certainly makes a difference.

I have my own Detailer that looks after the car.

So I thought it’s time to put the car to the test, I’ve decided to take it out through Sydney CBD to see people’s reactions.

This is the first CGT to ever drive through Sydney!

I thought Australia was somewhat humourless with respect to importing a lhd car?
