Default Porsche Diecast 356's

I have been collecting Porsche diecast cars for years now. I have "customized"a number of Bburago 1/18th scale diecast Porsche 356's. By "customized" I mean that I stripped off the boring stock appliance white paint from the bodies, cleaned up the casting, primered and painted the bodies in much more interesting colors. I also custom painted the plastic interiors and custom painted/detailed the motors. I have attached a pic of 5 of these "customized" Bburago 356's in a row. Not a great shot, but you get the idea. Nice work. I've got a few doubles of some 911's that I've been contemplating doing this to.

Default 356 Diecasts - More Pics

I have attached a couple more photos of the Bburago 1/18th diecast Porsche 356's I have mildly customized. Again, this includes re-painting the body, the interior and detailing the motors. Tony Scheurer

Those are fun. I like the detailed engines. Looks like a very clean masking line on the orange/yellow one.

I have a few of them, and indeed, one of the first "mods" I did was rip those bumpers off !

Very cool. You might have inspired me to attempt something like on some of mine.
