That Speedster and the dioramas are just unbelievable. Your husband is a VERY talented man.

thank you

Here's one we found and gave to a friend who just a bought "this" car. The only differences are the wheels aren't correct and his wing is black rather than white. Otherwise it's a match.

Not sure if everyone in the group knows this website for Mint Models. Variety of models. Here it is anyways.

Default Hi, I am a (993) collect-aholic...

Over the winter I worked on a project to come up with a better "method" to display my ever growing 1:18 993 die-cast (primary race) collection. Wanted something sturdy, but minimalist, and to fit in my home office (the only place I am allowed to "decorate / furnish" my way...) Was previously using a bookshelf and stacking the cases, but that did facilitate viewing and was a bulky esthetic. Not at all in keeping with teutonic engineer & design.

So I made some customer alum hangers (4mm stock) that snap-fit to the 1:18 display case (Pioneer Plastics) and hung off of alum back rails (AS Hanging Systems) to hang from the wall, 2 hangers per case. Designed the hanger and a case platform to both tilt down, to facilitate easy viewing from below (standing or from desk seating position over monitors) and then placed the "system" in the unused upper wall space around the room. Very sturdy, and makes for easy placement. Hopefully easy to dust. Also using shelved closed door display wall units (Carney Plastics) for 1:43 collection. Two walls down (full) two to left to fill

Oh wow - nice setup there!

I really need to come up with a better way to display my stuff too. All my "really nice" ones are in glass display cases... but I have some others that are buried in the basement still.
