For a long time I was looking for a pen to fit inside my Porsche pen holder, finally last year I found it on eBay. It is a Porsche pen designed for the glove compartment pen holder. they sell it at the Beverly Hills store and I think its going for around $20. I will try to post the eBay link below.
I've been wondering what these two clips are for in my 911 and Cayenne, and even the salesman could tell me what it was for. I just bought two of them thank you
I also got the black version and I actually like the black one better, the ink is black too and today I noticed they have the same pen with the blue ink as well.
I was delighted with Henrick's post, partly because I love learning this kind of detail, but also because I would eventually have wondered what those clips were for --IF I had seen them.
Are they only on 911s? Asking because I have an '07 Boxster and an '11 Spyder, and haven't seen an indent in the glove compartment.

Of Courseit's not! So I have to ask: since the first link's pen costs twice as much as the ebay listing, and the latter comes from China, is the latter pen also violating design copyright law?
Naturally you might ask if I'm being a nit-picking nerd, and I would agree, save for the fact that I'm both an artist and a scholar and have had my work either ripped off and/or published with neither compensation nor credit/acknowledgment.
IF I learn that the eBay pen is not a knockoff, I'll naturally go for that, but if the eBay pen is either cheap, meaning chintzy plastic or not to the material and visual standard of the first pen, then I'll spring for the more expensive unit.
Anyone care to weigh in?

Yes, it is light and plastic, but the quality is perfect. Also, it does say Swiss made. After about a month, I decided to buy more, but this time I became a little cheaper and bought the other one cheaper for half the price. What a mistake.
