Hello,

My father--in-law was stationed with the Army in Germany during Vietnam @ Kaiserslautern, just after he was married and after his graduation from college. His wife came to join him in 67 and they lived on the upper level of a home owned by a German couple.

He has always know that I loved Porsche, and after 20 years of marriage, I finally got my first 911 last year. This Christmas he gave me a glass that he bought with my Mother-in-Law, sometime in 67 or 68, he believes, in Kaiserslautern at a department store. It was part of a set that came with a similar glass featuring a Fiat. They remember very little about the purchase, but it has served juice at the breakfast table for the last 50 years.

I'm sure is more sentimental than collectable, but I am wondering if anyone has seen a similar glass or has any knowledge of its manufacturer.

Do not know much about the glass. Found a similar one that shows a lot more wear on eBay after I saw your post. Really sweet looking though and great story.

I have not seen this glass but have one with a Sunbeam Alpine on it, very similar graphics.
