With a 2019 Macan on the horizon, the pricing on 17's should be very aggressive.

Bought a ‘17 Night Blue, well optioned GTS with 750 miles for $10k off sticker. I then paid $2,600 for the 2 yr/50k mile CPO warranty. YMMV.

ok so that was not actually a new car, but a demo. that makes a big difference as some people won't want to shell out for the CPO...

i never said it was new. New cars don’t have 750 miles on them. I don’t understand the warranty comment. The CPO warranty is significantly less expensive that an extended warranty on a new car. I was specifically looking for a low mileage used car for that purpose so I could tack the CPO onto the new car warranty.

Default I just bought '17 GTS

I found a Carrara White GTS w/ 8500 miles, - loaded- Sport Chrono, Sport design mirrors, 14 way seats, Ventilated front seats, Black leather pkg , heated steering wheel, black roof rails, side blades in exterior color, LED Headlights, Carbon Fiber interior PKG, PCM w/ NAV, Connect Plus,Trailer hitch, Smoking pkg - for $68,500. MSRP was $83,165. Sold new in march . One Owner, Clean Carfax, all records , Passed Porsche CPO , but was sold by sister Audi dealership so CPO warranty didn't carry over. Makes sense to buy extended warranty I think??

Just delivered last week , Love it so far

Beautiful Macan! I would definitely buy an extended warranty. Relatively small price to pay for a couple more years of peace of mind if you're going to keep the car past the standard warranty.

Who would one buy an extended warranty from? Porsche? Could one purchase CPO warranty if car was not purchased from a Porsche dealer? or are you referring to a 3rd party warranty?

I heard good things about Fidelity. Some insurance companies also sell extended warranties if you're within a certain mileage and year. Here's a quick Google search of top extended warranty programs (if CPO isn't available) http://www.toptenreviews.com/service...anty-services/

I'm not certain about CPO if a car was not purchased from Porsche. My guess is that it's possible if you get it inspected by a Porsche dealer and pay a premium.
