MACAN GTS Front License Plate dilemma

Decided that I'm not installing the standard front license plate bracket but my state requires front plates.
I don't want to debate this...so focus.
After exhaustive research....I've narrowed the search results to:
1) CravenSpeed - Macan GTS model
PORSCHE PLATYPUS PRO-SERIES LICENSE PLATE MOUNT
https://www.cravenspeed.com/porsche-...e-plate-mount/
The CravenSpeed is offset and uses the front tow hook location. It functions with the parking sensors as this is specifically made for the GTS w/ sensors. Only downside i've read somewhere that one led fog light MAY be partially obstructed. I don't see a big issue but certainly curious to see how much.
2) Mustang - universal
http://ccmustangbrackets.com/product...plate-bracket/
The mustang works via lightweight bracket and the strongest 3m glue made or bolt for the bracket, hidden inside.
Price = $80 USD for Craven vs. $53 USD (shipping not included), so that's not a biggie either way.
Conclusion:
I'm leaning on the CravenSpeed regardless of the potential drawback w/ partial fog obtrusion.
Anyone here already worked through this and can make a recommendation or found recommend a better one?
PLEASE NOTE: I don't need comments that state to recommend driving without a front plate and just pay the fine similar to the other crowd that states... just install the regular way and be done with it. Sorry, not gonna do it

I used two (big, long) zip ties to secure the plastic plate holder to the grill.
Interested in other options. Maybe.

Personally, I would go with the Mustang version because I really dislike plates mounted off-center. It really hurts the design of the car, much more than any bolted-on OEM plate, IMO.
I don't fully understand the Mustang version, however. Can it be easily attached and dismounted?

I tried to contact the Mustang version guy a few days ago but haven't gotten any response. Does anyone know if the assembly (and adhesive pad) is strong enough to hold a license plate with a full plastic cover? It adds quite a bit of weight.

Take it for what it's worth, but they advertise that it can hold up to 10 pounds of weight.
So adding a plastic plate cover should do nothing over a plate by itself.

Update:
The 'RENNLINE' version works really well and is very well built.
Very solid. I will post some pics over the next few days.

I am 30 yrs past mounting a plate to the side and not centered so I vote the second one.
