Question Creating ATT Connected Car Account Issues

Anybody try and go through the Connect Car signup at the att.com/porsche to activate the data service for the Car Connect Plus successfully? The dealer and I tried and it fails giving an incorrect customer service number for AT&T as 1-866-595-2222. This seems to be brand new for the dealer and AT&T as well. With the signup seemingly as simple as possible where you just enter the ICCID of the SIM and customer name, email and password. Hit continue and it fails. :banged:

Quite clugy if you ask me!
ATT kept asking me for a # on the email, which I could not provide...They then transferred me to PCNA.
Heres what they told me.

You gotta let the free trial run out...then go to dealer for a new simm card and use that to signup with.

If you ask me the rates are just too high to become connected...the only service I'am interested is google traffic.
Do I need google search and google street view.

I think I will just let it expire......

That's the deal. I don't even have the 3 months going for free. Talked with Porsche NA and they are working with the dealer to get things initially set up.

We've had our Macan for a couple of weeks now and the Connect Plus still is not set up. I believe there was an error or something in initial online setup process.
If we're stuck with AT&T I may not set it up at all.
