Interior door panel area sounds when in the sun
There are interior noises coming from the passenger window/door panel area. Only when being hit by the sun. I'm thinking it's the expansion/contraction of some plastic components. Sound like cracking and snapping sounds. Thinking it could be the window trim or interior panel?? I have the black gloss exterior trim. When opening that door and grabbing that trim by the edge, it makes slight similar sounds.

I hear something similar from the left rear passenger window area when backing out from the garage. I too have the gloss black window trim. I only hear one snap and that's it. I haven't checked the exterior trim, but that could be it since the garage is probably 20 degrees cooler than the outside.

I've also got the black glossy window trim, but I don't hear any noises like you describe. Is this a loud noise? A softer noise that, once you've heard it, you can't miss it?
I recall that some people had problems with their gloss black b-pillar trim cracking. It could be that the car is flexing or the trim is expanding in the heat and that's what you are hearing and you might eventually be able to see the problem.
