Default First breakdown

2015 Macan Turbo - On a 300 mile drive and pulled off the freeway to take pit stop and all of the dash warning lights came on and the engine died and would not restart.
Had to be towed to the dealership.
It took them about 3 days with it to figure out the issue.
It turned out to be a fried DME
Also known as the ECU it was in the shop for a week before I got it back.
The dealer gave me a 2016 panamera then a 2016 cayenne - I like my Macan a lot better than either one

Did they mention why? I mean why would the brain just fry like that? That's weird!

Did you accidentally connect your battery to a 240 outlet while on the freeway? (Just kiddin!)

They were not very forthcoming about what could have caused the failure

Friends Ford flex would shut down on the highway in the rain. turned out the wiring harness plug by the battery was facing up and catching water dripping from the hood and front 1/4 pannel. they replaced the truck and did a design change. I'd re ask why it fried.

Also to note. We're all trust worthy here, but perhaps white out all your name address and personal information on your above work order ??? Big smoke the internet safety bear
