PCNA released technical info on this recall about an hour ago.

If you aren't showing a recall when you do a VIN search on your vehicle, it is not affected.

There are a total of 25,325 North American vehicles affected by this recall.

Yet. Last year, PCNA sold 7,241 Macans in the U.S. Through October of this year, the number is 11,189. That 25K figure is going to cover everyone eventually, PCNA is just doing it in phases as they have parts to perform the recall.

Mine still doesn't show as having been recalled, but I'm certain I'll get a call or a letter in a month or two even though my car shows no obvious signs of problems.

latest update my leased Cadiliac SRX was returnd today and Porsche is paying for my rental until my Macan is released from the port.
My SA stated that this is a new campaign for customers that are involved in the stop sale and awaiting delivery. so I now have a Jeep Cherokee to hold me over. SA also said for me to pay out of pocket and Porsche will reimburse for the total amount.

The dealer also said that cars in port or awaiting delivery will get the part within the next week and I should be getting delivery around 11/25. lets see what happens

How accurate is this? Has anyone heard of Porsche placing a stop sale on the Macans?
To my understanding the repair will take place at POE--

True, per my understanding. For incoming Macans, Porsche will do the recalls at the Porsche facilities in MD and GA, with Porsche techs, b4 they r shipped to the dealers. Dealers will have enough to do, with their own and their customers' Macans.

I believe they have. I test drove one yesterday and am most likely buying one today. Dealer just has to find the options i want, which should not be to hard.

Mine was done around Thanksgiving, and shipped to me on Dec 1. What a great, early Christmas present!
We finally decided his name is Rudy, as in Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer. Is Rudy a beauty or what!

Nothing in Baltimore anymore, PDI was moved to Davisville, RI for the NE. I guess it was to share the facilities with VW/Audi (this press release ends up saying that was one of the reasons http://press.porsche.com/news/release.php?id=561 )

As expected, Porsche has finally got around to including my Macan in the recall for this issue. I haven't seen anything in the mail yet, but a check of the website with my VIN shows
Replacing fuel low-pressure line in the engine compartment | AF06 | Oct 30,2015 | NHTSA Recall ID: 15V717

Description
In rare cases, it is possible that the customer notices a fuel odor in the engine compartment, which had been caused by a leakage from the fuel low-pressure line. There have been no reports of accidents, injuries or vehicle fire as a result of this concern worldwide.
Safety Risk
Fuel leakage in the presence of an ignition source may present a risk of fire.
Remedy
Porsche is conducting a safety recall on these vehicles. The low pressure fuel line will be replaced at no charge.

last updated Dec 07,2015
Look for your cars to be included soon if you haven't already been notified.

Had my Turbo in for the recall/fuel line on December 18. Never did get a recall notice. The Vancouver dealer only received 3 repair kits in December and they have sold/delivered 200+units. The dealer set one aside for me given the amount of business I give them.

Sent a PM.

OT: Looking for info on the tow hitch cover in your pic. Lost my oem rubber one on a gallop up to Vermont for vacation recently and would like to replace with one that secures via pin (as yours apparently does)..

TIA!
