want to buy Macan , have some questions
Hi
i have 2015 991 GT3
and BMW 335i (lease about to end)
i prefer sedan , but wife want SUV
we test drive the Macan Turbo and the Cayenne Turbo
both of us like the Macan much more.
do you know what the lease offers for Macan?
i red that the Macan can't tow my GT3
that's true?
the same engine in the Cayenne GTS making 440 HP
there is ECU upgrade to get the same HP from the Macan?
Thanks

I would expect that about 2 years from now there will be a Macan GTS with something in the 430hp +/- range. Porsche normally introduces GTS models in about the 3rd or 4th model year to keep customers interested instead of waiting for the .2 version/replacement. Personally I am probably going to go for that upgrade and have set aside the funds already. My Macan Turbo is now 3 months old with about 1800 miles and I love it but keeping a driver 3 years is going to be along time for me.

GTS will be great. Can't wait for them to release.

You'll be fine with the S. Just keep it in Sport mode to keep the revs up. The biggest difference in the Turbo is added low end torque. I find my S to be very entertaining. Plus, you have a GT3 to satisfy the need for something more!

I know what you mean. I drove a base loaner Cayenne once, and felt I couldn't get out of my own way. The Macan S is very nimble and loves to get up and go. It gets better with age. Mine has over 13k miles now, and feels sportier than ever.

S and Turbo
both using Twin Turbo engine , right?
3 Liter Vs 3.6
it's look like it will be easy to tune those cars
i wish ECU will be available
other then more power for the Turbo model
there is different between the S and Turbo?
i like my 335i Sport , great engine
i wish i will like the Macan ,
i don't really have other choices , maybe Q5S ?

Forget the Audi, it's horrible compared to the Macan!
I'm a GT3 guy as well, and will be taking Euro delivery of my Macan Turbo in July. I looked at the entire range of SUVs from Audi, Porsche Rover, BMW, Mercedes, and Jeep. After I drove the Macan Turbo, I knew immediately what I wanted. No brainer.

Actually, not really. I would've gotten Macan anyways.

What I didn't like about the SQ5 is, well, a lot of things. The ride is choppy. It "porpoises," meaning the front end bobs up and down. I thought the seats had an awkward position. It also didn't have enough power on tap, and I thought the design was stale. Also, our local Audi dealer is not good at all. I could go on, but you get the point...

but i'm not completely think it's worth to spend $85K for small SUV
i can't even tow the GT3 with it.

I am still not understanding why you can't tow your GT3. Did you find this somewere that you can't?
As far as the S and turbo, yes, you get more with the turbo to include but not limited to, larger brakes, different clutch plates in your transmition, and others. Just take some time and compair the two, you will find that the turbo really is not bad for what you get... Plus it is quicker by over a half second to 60.

You can buy really nice used newer Cayenne TT's, 2011+, even CPOs for less than the price of a Macan Turbo, and the hp is 500 with a 7700+ lb tow rating. From what u say you like/want, the CTT is a no brainer for you. The newer (2013+) Cayenne GTS are also very nice, with 420 hp and the same 7700+ lb tow rating. Lots of each are available, unlike Macans.
