Default Macan vs Cayenne Dimensions

I found this somewhat interesting. The Macan is really only slightly smaller on the exterior. The height was biggest noticeable difference when I saw them both side by side.

Cayenne Macan
Length... 190.8 184.3
Width ..... 78.7 76.1
Height .... 67.1 63.9

Agreed, at least as far as we Americans are concerned. But the target market is Active Singles, DINKs, Empty Nesters and Families with younger kids. There is always the Cayenne if you need more room.

Default Rear seat room

I did enjoy my test ride as the car handles very well and power is there in sport mode. Marketing at Porsche told me that the 30-50 single male is primary target market.....someone who wants to impress and show on way up.....interesting since a turbo is about 90k,...majority of these cars will be leased I think....cayenne not for me....I still am amazed at prices that Porsche can command these days as a pedestrian c4s 911 is 140k these days.....

I was really concerned about the back seat which is why I didn't order one. I was actually pleasantly surprised when I went yesterday. I set the front seat to my position, I'm 6' tall, and I went and sat behind it with no issues. Not spacious but not nearly as cramped as I was expecting. The rear cargo area is dismal, but the rest of it was big enough!

I'll probably and pick up a turbo this week.

that was quote from the marketing manager at Porsche NA....their answer to my question of their main target market.....and their propensity to lease versus buy.....maybe Porsche bases things on assumptions but that is marketing to a degree...)

Did the car have a pano roof, and if so, did you find the head room pretty limited in the rear seat like I did?

It did. I guess I was expecting a lot worse so was pleasantly surprised.

The headroom was definitely tight but not claustrophobic tight. My current DD is an M5, I felt it was definitely narrower and a little less headroom and legroom.
