At the moment I am thinking about PASM only, less expensive while still providing a sportier ride. In addition, it will save some weight and less expensive to maintain past warranty.

for a ute vehicle I could care less about PASM.

The Air is interesting but for my secondary grocery getter It wouldnt be used… Interesting though for lower ride height crusin' around the city and able to raise the height when waking up to deep snowy driveway...

air+pasm,

i regret not buying it on cayenne's but the pricing was a little high, on the macan i want a low riding "sedan" basically but with the ability to take on anything that i plan to drive on (going hunting, going offroad).. i assume the vehicle is AWD but dont even know (might not be???).. waiting for more specs on macan but for now i am going w/ air susp... and hopefully a chip comes out promptly for performance upgrade of the 3.0

Have had many positive experiences with our PASM & AS on our Cayenne.
Planning on ordering it on our Macan.

how fast can you drive with the air suspension at full height? Is it speed limited?

Also, for the low setting, can you leave it in low setting around town? or only at high speed?

I'd recommend the pasm with air for sure! Having it on our Cayenne has proven such a pleasure. The flexibility it offers is like icing on a good cake. It is a great car without it but it is an even better car with it. It is a shame it is not standard equip but for the money it is one of the better options on the list imho and not to be missed if you can help it.

The air suspension drops from high to "normal" at around 80 km/h.
If you select "sport" setting, the suspension drops to low.

You can keep the setting at low until you select "4 wheel drive" (at least in the Cayenne, not sure in the Macan, but assume it is the same.)

I keep my Cayenne at Low when driving normal.
I set it to "load" (lowest setting) when I park.

If you drive off in "load" the setting automatically goes to "normal" unless you pre-select "low".

With the snow we are having here, I am in "high" setting most of the time in the city.

Sounds like a much better setup then my ML with Air Suspension, I may just have to bite the bullet and get the Air.

Definitely PASM/Air for ours. Low in the summer, with the ability to go up for deep snows in winter.

Same as in my Touareg. The Air Suspension is by far the best feature IMHO. Way better than riding on springs. PASM and AS for me in Macan.

Have seen a pic from one the shows which has a button in the boot to raise the suspension for off-roading, i.e. it cant be activated from the dash?

That is for the cargo load setting (i.e. the lowest setting), not for off road.
