the Macan most likey has a slightly lower roofline towards the rear.

Based on who I have sitting in the back seats, it wouldnt make a difference to me unless i was a car pooler with long distance drives...

A review from LA...

"Inside the Macan, the floor and seat height are also lower than most cars in the segment. Headroom is sufficient at the front, but problematic for adults at the rear. I measure 179cm (5ft10″) and my head touches the outline of the panoramic roof, which the four cars on display in Los Angeles are equipped with."

It's hard to imagine how the Macan has much less space than the Cayenne just by looking at the measurements
-length 184.3 vs 190.8 (macan 6.5in shorter)
-width 76.14 vs 76.3 (about same)
-height 63.35 vs 67.4 (macan 4in shorter, sloping roofline will take away some rear head room)
-cargo 17.7 vs 26.4 (I assume most of the cayenne's extra length went into the cargo?)

Simple solution: don't order the panoramic roof and put the $2k in your pocket, or towards a different option.

There is less rear leg room as well, see attached.

Ah, yes certainly. Especially as it does not have the sliding seats.

It is Sapphire Blue. It won't be available until October/November production along with a new colour, Impulse Red. There will be more interior colours available then as well.

Does look a little tight although it will be mainly kids back there in these things anyway so…

Personally I like more headroom in an SUV especially as the driver, nice for the passengers too, that said Macans competitors are much the same from what i see in that dept….all a bit on the low side of things. Nothing you won't get used to though. Prefer to be in this than the others thats for sure.
