Hopefully they keep it quality. There is a huge drop in interior quality between the Panamera and the Taycan. Porsche really cheaped out the interior, lots more plastic, less attention to detail.

Ditto, but Porsche has said in the past that 2024 will likely be the last year that an ICE Macan is for sale and sine the EV is coming out next year, I'm not sure there's much hope for that.

The Lucid Air Grand Touring achieved 410 miles of range in Car and Driver testing. And the Lucid Air Dream has a 520 mile range. It is more luxurious than my Taycan by far.
Lucid and Tesla have the most efficient electric motors in the industry. VAG's motors are comparatively less-efficient, so even if the Macan EV has a >100kWh battery, it likely would not achieve much over 300 mile range.
Having owned an EV for >2 years now (Taycan 4S), it is a 98% solution for driving. That is, 98% of my driving days are less than 250 miles. For the rare occasion I need to go more than 250 miles, I have access to the EA charging network. Or, I'll just grab my wife's Macan, rent a car (for company travel), or fly.
Not if but when that digital dash breaks i would hate to get the bill to replace it out of warranty. Currently PCM 5.0 which is in the 2023 Macan is $7k. I had to replace the PCM 3 times in my 2011 cayenne and they were $3500 each because it was hard drive based. I am glad after looking at this I am picking up a new 2023 Macan S this weekend.
