After about a week of searching, I can't seem to find much information on steering wheel swaps for my 2017 Macan GTS. A friend of mine recently installed a GT style wheel from a Macan onto his 2016 911 Turbo, all P&P. Therefore, to my understanding, most of these wheels are interchangeable.
Can someone confirm if any of these will work? I do not plan to add heat function nor the sport dial.
I swapped my standard 2019 Macan heated wheel with a heated wheel from a 2022 Cayman, with red stitching. I bought just the wheel frame/rim, then moved over all the switches, module, trim, and airbag. Easy job. Pics of new wheels and old frame below:
My only concern is if there were any changes in connectors since I have a first gen Macan. I'd like to use the new switches/trim from the wheel from Suncoast.
Additionally. I have no heat, so can I let that be?
