Drives great - I like the PSE sound and the burble. Love the PDK and the flexibility.
Love that I can park it most anywhere and drive it without folks wanting to race me at every traffic light (unlike when I'm in the miata ).
I drive it in the firmest susp setting and its good, flat and I find it forgiving enough.
It certainly highlights how much of a boat the XC90 is.
It feels great - def feels and drives like a Pcar should. It even has the creaky door seals when its sub-zero outside
Is it a usable and fun Pcar that I can drive and have fun in - very much so. Do I want to mod it - of course I do!
Silver badge just came in the post.....

OP:
The ceramic coating is essential with the Spyder wheels.
I just hose mine off. Wish I had done the barrels as well ($50 more each wheel, so I didn't.)
My GTS is 90% wrapped in XPel ultimate with ceramic coating.
It is a 2018 model, and I have driven it in the most extreme weather in Europe, 23 states in the US and the entire Canadian Powder Highway in the dead of winter.
Still looks pretty damn good- and it's black!
2017 in Tuscany:
2021 in Minnesota:

26,XXX miles
Both cars are kept/stored on the west coast and have been driven sparingly since Covid.
Last trip in the Macan was Portland, OR to MN via ID, WA, MT, ND.
Side trip to CO via IA, NE, then return via SD, WY, ID.
That was 5000 miles in 4 months.
It has not turned a wheel in a year.
The 997 sat for 22 months in SoCal. Had the fuel manifold cleaned and tried to dispose of 17 gallons of old gas, but no luck.
Burned the tank in the Malibu Canons last June (300 miles in 4 days).
Road triped to Las Vegas in November via the Angeles Cest Highway and I-15.
Roundtrip was 700 miles in 4 days.
Wish I cold drive both more often, planning a trip in the Macan to Banff/Lake Louise in June.
Living in Hawaii is great, but there are few roads on Oahu to open up a Macan, let alone a 997.
Had a 997.1 base 911 but had to sell it lest I lose my license.
Both cars are covered in XPel with ceramic coating.
It just seems to maintain a diamond finish despite being 7 and 5 years old, respectively.
And a black car is notoriously hard to maintain the finish- it shows everything.
