New to the forum, and I have a questions for any Macan owners using it as a family car. Almost about to order a Macan GTS. I have two small children. If required, do you think I could fit two narrow booster seats as well as a child seat. I know there's no chance of three child seats, but hoping two boosters and a child seat might work. My wife isn't crazy about the extra size of the Cayenne, the Macan would otherwise be perfect for us.
For getting kids in and out of the seats, it all depends how far back you are comfortable with driver's and passenger's seats. I can tell you the back seat legroom is tight for two adults when I am driving. For that reason I am trading in my Macan for a Cayenne or a BMW X5 this summer. Your best bet would be two take the three seats down to the dealer and try them out on a Macan in the showroom. The Macan is a fun car to drive, but does lack the space in the back seat.
I test drove a CPO Macan Turbo yesterday and while I loved the performance, I just could not get over the lack of room. The back seat was very tight based on where I would have the seat (I'm 5'10"); the cargo area is small; even the center console storage is tiny. I really wanted to love this car and come away feeling "this is it, sign me up" but I just can't get there. I could not imagine 2 boosters and a child seat in back.

Where I was looking for more rear legroom in my next car, I test drove many. Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland, Volvo XC-90, BMW X3 and X5, Acura MDX, Infinity QX60, Lexus RX350. The BMW X3 will not give you much more legroom in the back. The X5 is good. The RX350 will give you more legroom, but stay away from the RX350-L. They rob the first and second row legroom to install the third row which is useless. At 5'10" also, I wanted to have "easy exit/entrance" feature which slides the driver's seat back, and moves the steering wheel up when you turn the car off. The Cayenne, Lexus RX350, BMW X5, Acura MDX, and Grand Cherokee all do this. The Volvo XC-90 does not. Too bad, the Volvo was nice and had 313hp engine. The BMW X3 M40 has 382hp, and is very quick.
My final choices are a CPO Cayenne, or a BMW X5.

Cheers,
Trying to understand why you need three spots for two kids. Honest question, since I don’t have kids. That said, the manual shows a LATCH system in each of the two main rear seats and a top tether anchor point for each of the three rear seating positions

2 kids. It's a ok. 3 kids. too tight.
one in the oven will mean a stroller in the back, and there is room for that, but not much more. I had a foldable wheelchair in the back of it this past weekend and it
was snug on depth, although there was storage for groceries on top of the wheelchair, and not so practical overall.
I had a 2014 X3 before the Macan and it was OK with two bigger kids in the back, not so with the Macan. Moreover, if you ever do some longer-distance traveling, luggage space is considerably less in the Macan. An X5 might be overkill compared with the X3. As with any vehicle go sit in it. If you cannot find specific inner dimensions published, take a measuring tape and the salespeople will likely more than willing to let you crawl around and take measurements (I had no problem with this).
IMO, the Macan has more than enough room for two small children. This goes for needing a car seat and without. My wife is 5'7" and when my son (6'4") comes to town, she sits in the back and has more than enough room. BTW, I live just south of downtown Houston. The last two nights we rented a room in a hotel. No power... On the slick roads and in some places icy roads in the downtown area, I LOVE THIS THING!
If my kids had booster seats, I’d see how any combination of three of them would fit in the back seat.
However, I did take a picture of the seat with a tape measure for reference.
At least on my phone, if you tap on the picture above a higher resolution version loads and you can zoom in and read the tape. If that doesn’t work, I can post some other pics. Just let me know.
Without being able to test it, I’d gander that you could place a large child seat in the center and two smaller boosters flanking on the sides. But I’m just guessing.
The Macan itself is a reasonably wide car. It’s wider than my ex’s Subaru Outback.
As mentioned above, fitting a stroller in the back might be another issue. You have some weird angles from the seats sloping back plus the slope of the trunk door itself going the opposite direction. The depth at the floor of the trunk is only about 32” front to back.

My cousin tested this in my ‘18 GTS because she was thinking about a Macan. It doesn’t work because the full child seat extrudes too much over the space of the child sitting in the booster seat next to it.
the other thing we realized was that it is an absolute cluster- - - to have a full row of kids by themselves without an adult to exercise some modicum of control
