Swapping out Chrome for Black - PORSCHE emblem
My wife didn't like the chrome P O R S C H E on the back of her Macan S, so I ordered her gloss black letters from Suncoast Porsche for $ 100 and swapped them out today. Very easy, just use a door jamb plastic pry bar and pop off the old chrome ones, clean the residue off, and peel / stick the new gloss black ones. Photo 2 shows how easy this is to do as there is no alignment tricks as the back panel is molded for the letters. She really like the new look, too.

@drcollie Is this the same part you used? https://www.suncoastparts.com/product/skuem95g2bla.html It makes no mention of the Macan lightbar letters... I want to do exactly what you've done. Thanks!

3M adhesive remover works great to get the adhesive off the hatch trim before reapplying the new letters. Use w/ a microfiber, sparingly. Did no damage to the plastic for me (I did this on my Panamera, not Macan but the panel is the same).
