Can anyone tell me if the 2021 Macan Turbo is subject to the previous model years transfer case issues or have they improved that component?

I believe the change to the new design took place March 2018.

I took delivery of my 2018 MACAN Turbo in late December of 2017. With 10,000 miles, my car has had absolutely no problems. How common are transfer case issues with the pre-updated cars.
My understanding is that Porsche will stand by these transfer cases for a 7 year period.

So common that Porsche extended the warranty on transfer cases. If you did not get the notice send me an email address and I will forward the extension notice I received at the time. Send it to 'wmwahl 'at' gmail.com

I did get the extended warranty from Porsche.
That would seem to imply that the problem is not uncommon.
The standard warranty is 4 years/50,000 miles.
Was the transfer case coverage extended to 7 years?
