Potential purchase - 2 choices
I was on the phone all day today looking for a great buy on a base Porsche Macan. Problem is, I'm very picky with options so I narrowed it down to two choices.
1. 2018 Volcanic grey Macan Base with standard features plus 20" Spyder rims and heated seats. MSRP 55,940. Dealer discounted down to 50,500. I was hoping to get it for 49,500 before tax and registration. I'm beginning to realize any macan with Spyder rims, I won't get under 50k. I'm going to ask if they can knock it down to 50,000 tomorrow.
2. 2018 Volcanic grey Macan Base with standard features plus 20" Spyder rims, heated seats and panoramic roof. MSRP 57,740. Dealer discounted down to 51,500. I'm shooting for 50,500-51000 on this one.
Any advice/thoughts would be greatly appreciated. I was thinking I can get lower on the price because 2019 models are in transit to the dealerships. I've called other dealerships around me except for the town I live in , hahaha, only because they don't have what I'm looking for. I know it's a 500-1000 difference, but I would like to get the best deal possible and i'm already going over my limit. Not interested in getting a certified pre-owned vehicle. I like the idea of being the first to own the car.

Looks like the pano roof one is a better deal but I'd probably look for other options before the Pano roof if it were me. I had my Macan for 3 years and I always kept the shade closed and I might have opened the sunroof 3 times in the entire time I had it. There's a host of options I'd personally rather have.
I drove the base Macan a couple times as a loaner, I know you said you don't want CPO, but I would do a CPO Macan S all day long for 50k over a new base. Either way you'll love the Macan though.
