Default HIGHLY optioned Turbo!

I came across this one on ebay initially. It’s at a M-B dealer in AZ. This is absolutely one of the highest optioned Macan Turbos I’ve ever seen. The asking price seems more than reasonable, especially given the unique build of this vehicle. The original owner took the big depreciation hit on this one.

So I thought some here might be interested. I certainly would be had I not bought my GTS just last summer. Check it out (I have no affiliation with this dealer or vehicle BTW)....

Thanks!
What a great find.
If I buy this car, you will profit from this post.
(Of course this would be my wife's car, so no promises.)

Not a 3.6l Turbo. Look at the front bumper. Maybe a 3.0. And the RED... Wow! If you like red, this is the one for you.

Assuming you’re referrring to the same vehicle I provided the link to above, it most certainly is a 3.6 Turbo. I think what may be confusing you with regard to the front clip is that this one has the SportDesign package in black, so the front end looks different than what you typically see on standard Turbos.

As for the red interior, yes, it is RED....even has rare Exclusive options covering the AC vents and PCM surround in red leather. And that’s part of the appeal of this particular Turbo, it’s got some very rarely seen options, if you’re into that sort of thing. Personally I love this one. This is a special Macan.

The front bumper isn't the turbo bumper though - that's weird

I have the red leather interior (regular kind) and instantly noticed the PCM surround is red on this one - quite cool.

Right, see the additional info I just added to my post above explaining the different front end......

And you can see the SportDesign package option listed on the build sheet. Thanks for posting this - one of a kind.

Looks like it is not listed anymore, what was the asking price?

Wow, looks like you’re right. It was still listed as of yesterday but gone now. Asking price was $65k and some change, 20k miles. Smoking deal for that particular vehicle, even at the asking price IMO.

That was certainly a one-of-a-kind Macan. Someone got a really nice one, I only hope it was someone that appreciates what they really got, and not just a soccer mom saying “oh the white one’s pretty, the interior matches my favorite Coach purse, I’ll take that one”

Not really understanding the sport design package on a Turbo. My 2015 S has it and I thought it was a different front and rear to look like what the Turbo or GTS comes with.

So you're correct that adding the Sport Design package on your S gave it more of the GTS look. The Sport Design pkg is standard on the GTS model, but optional on all others, including the Turbo. But without the Sport Design pkg, the Turbo model does have a unique front end that is different from the others. Clear as mud?!

Hi Guys,

CarGuyNVA is correct. I just purchased this vehicle for my wife because it matches her white Sienna and her red Coach 👜. LOL j/k.

I am however, the new proud owner of this beautiful beast. This is my first Porsche purchase (also first premium car purchase).
I’ve been searching nationwide for a rare pre-owned Macan for a month and the best I found was a ‘17 turbo MSRP $123k (poorly chosen options list) with 4K miles for $70k at a SoCal Carmax. Unfortunately, it was hit in the front from a history of joy rides (vehicle looked like an overworked prostitute :/) and poorly amateurishly repaired. However, it sold immediately after I released my hold.

I was very surprised to see this very reasonably priced unit last Wednesday on eBay and Cargurus. I thought it was too good to be true. Sent my father-in-law who lives 10min from the dealer to inspect it. Everything checked out great. Original owner was an older gentleman who installed all the bells & whistles and after 20k miles decided to trade it in for a S class.

I was gonna sit on it until March since I was gonna be in Vegas for the weekend followed by an immediate business trip. On Saturday while at the casino, my brother who collects cars alerted me that there was already a thread about this “highly optioned Turbo” by an experience Porsche owner.

I saw this thread and immediately booked the first flight out Sunday to Phoenix instead of flying back to SoCal that evening. Dealer picked me up and we were out the door in 2 hours.

This is the highest-priced MSRP Macan Turbo I have ever come across. It’s only missing the Performance Package (which I was told wasn’t introduced until the ‘17). Regardless, it has every single desirable option you would ever want to click off on the Porsche “build” page.

The bonus was upon purchase, the dealer told me they found out the owner installed a $4,500 K-40 radar detector/jammer system on final inspection the day before. The owner knew his stuff because he also did a car wrap and ceramic coated the unit.

In the end, I got a great deal for a great “highly optioned turbo”. Had this dealer done a better job advertising this Turbo beyond eBay and Cargurus, I believe he would have gotten way more buyers. No one knew about it. It was on the lot for 2 weeks.

Thanks everyone for pushing me off the fence on this one 👍

Wow, that's really cool, congrats!! I was hoping an enthusiast would end up with this one. When I first came across it on eBay, the first thing that caught my eye was a Macan with PCCBs. That's rare in and of itself. But then when I ran the VIN decoder on it, I knew I should bring it to the attention of those here.

Good for you, as you know you got a very special build, no question. That price was fantastic for this one too, the original owner took the big hit! Post some additional pics when you get a chance, the dealer's pics didn't even begin to do it justice!

Enjoy!!

Will do CarGuyNVA once I get it detailed. Driving from Phoenix to Orange County in the rain made it unpresentable for show.

One thing I have to get used to now is an internal combustion engine with only 19 mpg that requires constant refueling and oil changes after driving a fuel cell for 3 yrs. But boy I miss the sweet smell of gasoline!

Enjoy. CarGuy, you were right. I was not aware the ground effects kit changed out the front bumper.
