I went to the Porsche dealership in Newport and was interested in one of their CPO Macans. Sadly, I didn't leave with the car, but I wasn't aware Porsche doesn't negotiate on the sticker price of CPO porsches. I made, in my mind, a fair offer for the vehicle and the salesperson stepped away to speak to the guy above him twice. Both times, unsuccessful. I was even willing to put a deposit down and come back with cash the next day and pay it all off. One thing that annoyed me though, the sales rep didn't even attempt to get to know me. Why did you choose Porsche? What do you do for a living? I've worked in customer service for 5 years and it goes a long way to get to know the customer you're dealing with. Right off the bat, he was trying to sell me the car. I understand at the end of the day it's a business, but it means something to a few when getting to know your buyer. At one point, he asked who i'm financing from and told them I already got pre approved through a credit untion. I feel like they wanted me to go through them with an unfavorable apr. I felt like I got lied to in person about not being able to negotiate. He also mentioned the 2019 macans are not out yet, but I did see one on the road in my town about a week ago. Only reason I noticed because the tail light goes all the way through. It didn't help that I had to drive in terrible rainy weather through the grape vine with flash flood warnings. Anyways, rant is over. I was just curious if sticker price on a CPO prosche is non-negotiable.

A CPO Macan's price IS negotiable.

Like the poster above said, "Find another dealer" - and I'd add tell the one you visited you're doing so.
They need to know they lost a sale because of their asinine behavior/policy. Instead of making some
money on your potential sale, they're made no money. Remind them they've lost you as a potential customer
for life and of your ability to communicate your experience with their business among your friends and acquaintances.

That's what i figured as well. I knew they were negotiable. It was a frustrating situation and I told them my displeasure. I will make it known to them, they lost a customer for life. Good advice. I was even thinking of sending them pictures of one when I bought from someone/somewhere else. I just wanted to find a great deal for money I worked hard for. Again, thanks for the advice and support guys.

As others have stated, negotiation is entirely possible on CPO vehicles. I negotiated quite heavily on my CPO GTS just this past summer. If the dealer has told you otherwise, then it's just that dealer (or that specific salesperson).

Yes, The window sticker says No Haggle just like Carmax. Newport is owned by Autonation.

Our Porsche Bellevue (Washington) is an AutoNation owned dealer and I found they wouldn't deal much at all. So I searched across the country and bought my car from a dealer in Pennsylvania and had it shipped when it arrived.

It was Porsche Conshohocken and the car was built to my specifications. The cost to ship across the country enclosed was $1,900. The discount was seven percent vs. nothing if I would have bought in Bellevue WA. The model is a 'S' with substantial add-ons.
