My wife is so funny, she wanted a Fabspeed exhaust for Christmas.

I installed yesterday and now her Macan is fast and loud...

Whats funny is, she loves it.

The only problem is trying to get her to drive slow in town because she wants to hear that glorious noise...

Mine has Gundo hacked mufflers, Vorsteiner bumpers, and a TT tail on her pink 997

When I had my 987.2 S, I found a used PSE for sale. My wife thought it was stupid and a waste of money. Then after I installed it, the 1st thing would do was turn on the exhaust.

Now that she has her Turbo PP, she always hits the exhaust button on it. The only thing she complains about is the speed limits are too low for her.

I have a Cobb tune ready to install for my wife on her GTS. Don't go thinking partners aren't racey too, it's contagious

If you could, please report back on your thoughts of her GTS pre versus post Cobb install.

It's fun. Smoother throttle response at lower RPMs and turbo boosts comes one much faster.

Does it invoke tuning changes in all modes....Normal, Sport, and Sport+?

I would say yes. The thing about the modes is that they don't increase or decrease power, they sharpen throttle response and hold gears longer or shorter. The tunes from the Accessport make alterations to air fuel ratios and moves boost delivery to lower RPMs so all drive modes are stepped up accordingly.

Good to know, thanks.

According to the data I have seen an S with the tune is about equal to the GTS with the tune.

about 45% more torque and about 45% more hp.

If you can handle it you should try it... I wish I would have gotten that kind of increase on the spyder, but then we would be talking about killing GT3s...

Appreciate the feedback, sounds tempting (although I’m just in the info gathering stage at this point....I’m still under warranty for quite some time and won’t jeopardize that).
