Default option sticker location?

Where is the option sticker location on the Macan?

I'm looking at a CPO Macan and trying to figure out where the sticker is. I looked on my sister's GTS and the option sticker doesn't exist under the hood.

Anyone have any ideas on how to find the list of options?

Thx

Checked under the front hood as well on my GTS- not there. Will check later if dealer probably just left in driver's manual pouch.

All you need is the VIN.

I have the VIN, where can I punch it in? All the places I've found online don't seem to work or offer much information besides the basic info on the car.

Thx

I'm not sure of the location on the Macan (haven't looked for it on mine yet), but on my Cayenne I seem to recall it was located in the rear hatch/cargo area, I believe somewhere in the compartment area where the spare tire is? Check around back there.

Or, if the CPO Macan you're looking at is at a P dealer (versus privately owned), the dealer can provide you with the options listing.

The backdoor vin check is no longer available because websites like vin analytical tried to monetize it. You can ask nicely to your dealer for the build sheet or pay Sun Coast for one.

Sadly, Option Code stickers when away after the 996 Series, perhaps about 10 years ago. I can't remember exactly when.
If you bought your car from a Porsche dealer then they can accurately recreate the window sticker from their database. That will correctly list all of the options on your Macan, but not the option codes. It is in their computer system, and they have blank window stickers. They also can also laminate the entire window sticker for you (for display at car shows, or whatever) but it will also keep the sticker looking fresh and new for years. However it will not fold up and fit in your glove box.

I received a nice laminated sheet from my dealer listing a lot of details about my GTS including the options list along with the codes. Then when my CPO package arrived from PCNA, it included a nice certificate of authenticity that showed the options/codes as well.

The OP should just be able to ask the dealer for this info for this CPO Macan.

Option code stickers survived into the 997.1 model year (maybe even after that). The difference was that Porsche no longer fixed the sticker to the underside of the trunk hood as in the 996's but depended on the dealers to insert the sticker into a page in the maintenance manual..although there were some enlightened dealers who did put the 997 sticker under the hood. So with the 997's look under the trunk hood, or the maintenance manual or just loose somewhere...if loose it's probably lost.
