I totally agree. The aft center stripe looks like every cheap Dodge car I hate. Not impressed with the external styling tweaks from Porsche lately on any model at all.

Trolling here because I am considering getting a Macan. First thing I thought about the 2019 tail light was that it was copied from my C4S, not some other SUV. I like it. Biased perhaps.

I'm not nuts about the lights all across the back on these new Porsches, either. But that's minor compared to so many other aspects of these vehicles, to me. Of much more concern to me is the fact that these new-generation Porsches don't allow you to control your front headlights (i.e., let you drive with lights off altogether, or drive with "parking lights" only, etc.); they've automated everything, acting as if the driver is too stupid to do the "proper" thing.

I do think that Porsche drivers are generally better drivers all around than the average driver on the street.

I agree. All the offenders I saw were driving Toyotas or Hondas.
