Default Driver's door rattle

2015 Turbo, 14,000 miles- I took it to the dealer for misc squeaks from doors and a driver's door rattle after trying the suggested treatment of the door weatherstripping. Dealer took it to the body shop they use to adjust the hood, also replaced the exterior trim pieces that border the bottom of the front windows on both doors. They also treated the weatherstripping on all the doors. All of the noises are gone - except the faint rattle in the drivers door. Any suggestions?

no other loose items? In the door pocket, sun visor clicked in. Garage door Remote clipped on visor?
Coffee cup under drivers seat?

Are you sure it’s not from the seat belt mechanism in b-post?

Had a rattling noise coming from driver's door, but it sounded like it was from inside the door, so I asked the dealer to take off the door panel (not sure what you call it, but the internal panel that covers the whole door). When they did, they found a piece of plastic broken off from something and sitting there inside. Not sure where it had come from, but once they removed it the noises were gone. Maybe have them open-up the door panel.

Thanks to everyone for the suggestions, I think there is something loose inside the door panel and will have it checked at the dealer since I have CPO until June 2021.

Just to let you know, CPO does not cover rattles since they are considered cosmetic

Good to know. They did cover the aforementioned work that eliminated most of the noises under CPO, maybe I got lucky.

Just to clarify: last two years are CPO. Since your Macan is a 2015, it may still be under new car warranty, depending of when warranty was punched

Update on squeaks / rattle: I took the car back in to Porsche North Houston as the rear door squeaks returned ( apparently when the lubricant wore off) and the driver's door rattled when the window was in the up position. This time they replaced both rear door window guides and seals, and the driver's door window guide. Problem solved!
