Oh yes. I can see the oxymoron in that statement. Let's just add a qualifier.. Heated seats in CA are for women. Is that OK?

I wouldn't own a car here in NC w/o heated seats. And since I've had cooled seats in the Cayenne and now the Macan, wouldnt do without that either.

lol... I've lived in northern climates my entire life, including Minnesota... Never had heated seats until my Panameras... Don't need them for the winter cold, but they actually do come in handy when I have lower back pain.

Our dealer in Florida convinced us to spec our 08 Cayman with heated seats. He said they spec all of their dealer cars with it. It's not as much for the cold, but for aching backs. And he was right on. My wife and I have both used it in conjunction with the A/C for lower back pain.
