Avg discount?
Hey folks - first post in the Macan forum. Going to try to help a buddy of mine get a Macan S today and tomorrow. What kind of discount can we expect to push for a car on the lot (2018)? I’m hoping at least 5% - can we do better?

That’s great, almost 9%. I’m assuming that was before tax etc, right?

Well it might as well be special order as I knew exactly what my wife wanted....and there are (were) only 30 Mahogany Metallic Macan S in the US equipped with what I needed. Lucky me, Beverly Hills Porsche just took one into stock that someone had ordered and then changed their mind.

Based on a similar thread in the Macan Forum, you can except 8-10% off on lot/inventory cars and 0-8% off on orders depending on your region. The more competition the better. Perimeter Atlanta apparently has the highest discount on orders.

Good info, thanks guys! We didn’t seal a deal over the weekend but will try again this weekend. They started at about 3% but we didn’t accept and walked. We shall see ...

I image ordering a macan you can get a higher discount (dealers get basically unlimited allocations of these, volume helps with special cars)?
Anyone try bundling a purchase with a discount plus a place in line for a GT car?

Does anyone from South Florida know any dealers (Miami to Orlando) that will negotiate? I’ve been following the Porsche forums and people have been getting good prices (6-10% off MSRP) in other areas, but none of the Porsche dealers here (and there are a lot of them) will deal. We are buying 2018 MY Macan Turbo or GTS. One dealer went down about 6% from MSRP, but much of that was washed away by dealer fees. Is it worth it to buy out of state? I heard Atlanta has better dealers.
