SCHWABEN/FOXWELL NT510 Scanner Up-Date
Finally got an "Oil Service" indicator and broke out the scanner to do a clear/re-set. Had already registered the device and did the software download to the unit. Scrolled down to "Macan", hit "enter" and got "diagnostics" but no "maintenance" screen. Tried every possibility to no avail. Called ECS Tuning. No help. They refer all tech questions to FOXWELL in China. E-mailed FOXWELL for instructions. Giving them 48 hours to respond. If not, ECS gets the unit back. If anyone on the Forum has used it successfully, would very much appreciate a tutorial.

I'm reading mixed reviews for their handling of returns for people. I've read other posts from people who've
bought items from vendors who punt the customers' concerns/issues back to the manufacturer. My advice to the
retailer would be, "Don't sell the item(s) if you're not going to stand behind them.".
If you're not willing to back the products you sell, and force the customer to deal with the manufacturer directly,
then why should a customer bother with you - and purchase from the manufacturer DIRECTLY?
What value are you - the retailer - adding?
Oh wait - you're adding YOUR profit to the equation!
Nice...

Still no reply from China...Contacted ECS Tuning and immediately got a RMA number (which indicates to me that I'm not the only one who's had a problem). It goes back for credit tomorrow. Anyone have better success with the iCarsoft PORII on a Macan?

Well, since ECS Tuning could not/would not offer any tech support and, after 3 days with no response from Foxwell in China, the device has been mailed back to ECS Tuning for credit. I've contacted U.S. tech support for the iCarSoft PORII device and have been assured that it will clear the Oil Service and Inspection notifications on our Macans. We've heard that before, right? Anyway, I'm going to try one and see what happens. Stay tuned...

Thanks for this information.
I just got the Schwaben unit, believing their website, failing to check here. It sounded German! I'm not plugging it into my car. I'm sending it back.
You know, the reminder alert is not bothering me. I can live with it. I'll check back when I need to do the rear brakes.

I was able to reset my oil service light and major service interval on my 2014 911 c4s. It allowed me to enter the date for future service reminders. It took a little time to figure out where to go to do it, but it works. Select vehicle > hot function> oil reset> reset maintenance interval
make sure the key is turned on
I was also able to easily clear codes easily that were generated when I removed my front and rear bumpers for service.
