We are building a few PTS Macan S- Gulf Orange and Emerald Green. We did an Arena Red Turbo. I think Macan PTS is the best model to do it with because as a dealer it offsets all the light base 54,000 cars and attracts a lot of 911 GT/ Turbo buyers. Definitely worth the extra 6k if you guys can swing it.

^ I have similar questions. Can you even lease a PTS car? I would think the depreciation calculations would be difficult to make. As for re-sale, based on what I've seen, they will take longer to resell but when the right buyer comes along, the asking price is easier to achieve. I can't think of any PTS that would make it extremely undesirable...maybe pink? My understanding is that there are two levels of PTS. One is the choice out of VAG's huge existing color palette and the other is a full custom color selection which is over 5 figures to option.

I'll add with those looking to purchase vs lease.. If you lease you can build out your vehicle however you like and just keep the build under the MRM (max $ Porsche will residualize in a lease) & it's no different than going with full leather vs PDCC. It's generally fairly easy to build out a nice vehicle for less than the MRM amount so I wouldn't think adding a PTS color option as being unrealistic or overly expensive in the grand scheme of things. Although you can always put every option on a car- lease it for 2 yrs and turn it back in and do it all over again.
The $23k PTS option is for 1st time feasibility study and painting of your vehicle. Then it is added to the Porsche PTS list.

I wish Porsche would add Graphite Blue Metallic to the Macan color choices as I have seen a couple in that color and they were fantastic. I don't really want to spend $6k to have one PTS but if it were already an option I would spec it in a heartbeat.
