I've done a search on this particular topic, but the threads are pretty old. I'm not sure how relevant the advice in those threads are today. So, I'll ask for a bit of an update.

Can anyone here recommend an independent shop for Pre-Purchase Inspection in the Detroit/Ann Arbor, MI area?

I've used Nikolas Motorsport to check out a 2002 (I think) BMW M3 convertible that I ultimately did not buy, but that was maybe 10 years ago.

I'm looking for a CPO Macan S, 2015 or thereabouts, and I'd like to have some options for this PPI in case a dealer would balk at my taking the car all the way from their location to Nikolas.

Try Arbor Motion. They are off state Street and I94. I know they do a LOT of 911's so I assume they can do a Macan.

Greetings from ann arbor. I would go with arbor motion. They know Porsche cars very well. I just had a PPI for a 993 and it was around 220 dollars.

I just did a PPI with Porsche Ann Arbor for my GT4 to a local rennlister and it was 220$

I have used both Suburban Porsche, Porsche AA, and Motorwerkes and have had no issues with any of them.
