Default Paint to sample

I ordered a new Macan Turbo yesterday with paint to sample GT Silver to match my Panamera Turbo, and 911 TTS 918 Edition, and received a call from dealer saying Porsche no longer doing PTS on Macan's?? Anyone out there that has recently done a PTS on a 2018 Macan??

I was just discussing a Macan PTS order with my dealer last week and was told the PTS window was roughly six months out. I was not told that PTS was halted - in fact they confirmed that my color choice was an approved one. Hmm...

The six months killed the idea for me, hence my other thread that has a spec in jet black metallic.

I have a PTS Macan GTS, getting the color you want is worth the wait. Does not sound like you needed a car quickly so why not have waited?

I have Mexico Blue and don't regret the price or wait.

Good luck!

No PTS available when I ordered so went for a 3m wrap.

I'm happy

Probably about the same price in the end, no wait, and your OEM paint is now protected from fading and stone chips - great idea.

Came out about half the price of the Signal Green PTS if it had been available.
Only downside is it's not quite as durable so i'll budget on another wrap in five years.
Quality of the job is amazing, they must have a vast amount of patience.
Any repairs are easy as they can order as little as a metre of wrap so I might redo the wheel arches in a couple of years if they wear.

Ironic that just saw this today. Dealer called and said car could be at dealership today. I'll have to see how I like the Agate---still bummed about not getting GT Silver, but maybe 3 in that color would be too much.

Well you won't be lonely with that color.

I don't think I've seen another Macan in Agate, so hoping it looks good. It's my wife's car, and she liked it when saw on a Boxster???

And you live in SoCal? I live in Newport and I see at least 2 a day and when I went to the Sc game Saturday I counted 5 going to LA. A very popular color.
