No, it is not. Base 996 is different from GT3/Cup. OTH you can bolt 6-piston calipers to 996 turbo's uprights. Then again, not on 996 C4...(but on 996 C4S, because the upright is tha same than turbo's)

The 996 GT3 Street and Cup upright casting are the exact same, but I have seen that their are in some catalogs different numbers published. Possibly assembled uprights(not 100% sure)being the differentiator with one being lug and other being centerlock hubs. I do know that the PET doesn’t always list the casting number on the carriers. You may have a carrier with the same casting number but listed in the catalog different and with different caliper spacing.
As far as the 996 Cup and GT3 street uprights are concerned, they are the exact same geometry as the 996 carrera(RWDs) and Boxster but with different caliper hole spacing and different size wheel bearings and bearing retainer plates. The GT3 variants have the larger wheel bearings that are the same size as the Turbo wheel bearings. I have several carrera carriers here that I compared against when I build my car.
