I have had this cup for many years but I wanted to find more info on its history. I've tried searching the VIN but found nothing. Any other places to look?

It ran carrera cup in Europe and supercup In 2000
Jorg Bergmiester won the career cup championship in it that yr . It won some supercup races also . It ran under Johnson controls livery

Mark this is why the Wagenpass is so important for these cars I have a 2000 and 2001 one with the Wagenpass one without. I have been doing a bunch of research on these cars for a few years. It is kind of fun like detective work determining cars' history and race events it participated in and who drove it. I have attached a picture from the original factory press kit issued for the 2000 season listing teams and sponspoships perhaps your car is among these. If I can help in your search let me know.

I got to meet Joerg this weekend at the Long Beach Grand prix. Actually I bumped into Wolf Henzler and he introduced me to Joerg who had some very fond memories of driving my car back when it was new.

For the records, I have the 2000 GT3 Cup 99ZYS698048 that was a Team Kadach car driven by Oliver Mathai in the Supercup Series.
Does anyone maintain records on the Supercup Race Series finishes?

Cool, that was one of the VIN I was missing. In 2000 that driver, (assumed car) ran:
4th @ Imola
3rd @ Barcelona
2nd @ Nürburgring
3rd @ Monaco
3rd @ Hockenheim
3rd @ Budapest
7th @ Indy (R2)
Finished 5th in the Championship.
