Default 3.6 or 3.8? Opions requested

So I have a spare 996 PMNA sealed Cup motor that I am going to have John Bray from EVOSPEC (formally Evolution Motors) refresh.

The dilemma is that I have some 3.8 pistons, rods from PMNA that I bought to refresh my 997 Cup S with. Given the arms race with GTA2 I really need to build the Cup S to a 4.? to even think of being competitive, so do I use the 3.8 stuff to rebuild the 996 and sell it or am I better off refreshing the 996 to 3.6 because there is a potential bigger market to sell to?

By the way if your interested in buying the finished product please PM me.

Thanks

Lots of 997 Gen 1 DE guys out there that dont care. 996 Cup guys would be stupid right now to do it.

4L? I think some of the guys are already up to 5L

996 cups are getting valuable, so a stock engine is best for resale unless you sell it to a cheater who runs in GTC3.8

GTA2 has a 4.0 as the max displacement, though I've never been tested.

Keep it as original as possible and the value will continue to rise and you'll be able to compete in a series with other original 996 Cup.
