What is the benefit of higher flow or full pressure immediately in the PCA race context
if you're not pressed for time (racing), there is no need to worry about conducting a quick pit stop, so this info is NA.

Can someone explain the difference between Industrial and European interchange fittings?
These terms refer to different profiles on the fittings (number of ridges, length, etc.). There are quite a few: JIS, British, European, Italian, Mil Spec, Industrial, ISO, SAE, ARO, etc., etc. In addition to different profiles, some standards flow more air than others

If you are setting up a system and to preclude compatibility problems, try to keep all the fittings the same standard.

I didn't want to fool with setting up a system, so I had my shop put all the fittings, regulator and hose together. They had all the hoses assembled at the Parker store and they came with the pressure release fittings. As some have said the airjacks will work with pressure around 300 to 400 ft/lbs but to get them to rise quickly you want be around 500 ft/lbs.

By the way, if you want to buy one, here's a link to the cheapest shop:

Add $150 for shipping and you're there. I bought mine directly from Paoli and the shipping and fees from Italy doubled the price. The advantage of the Paoli cart design is it mounts the regulator separate from the cylinder so it's allowed on and over the pit wall.
Sorry to bump this old thread but I'm putting together my air jack system and buying parts. Did you guys ever find other cart options besides the $700 Paoli or the $70 Amazon cart? Having the regulator separated from the cylinder seems like a better option.

I gave up searching so I'm having my local cage builder replicate the Paoli cart using the Harris regulator separated from the tank. Will post back after I get the final price.

Manthey Racing sells a setup that looks like a re-branded Paoli bottle.

You can always buy a nice aluminum cylinder from Catalina Cylinders.

Any idea what the Manthey price is for the "trolley"?

Let me know on this too. Maybe I have him make us a production run on them. I have been looking for a cart that we can sell at Demon Speed like the Paoli.

Thanks

Wow, lots of interest in this! I just asked about additional carts or if this is just a one-off favor since they have built multiple cages for me and my racing friends. Regarding progress on the prototype, the regulator and aluminum tank highlighted in this thread have been delivered and they are scheduled to start on Monday.

Thanks again for the thread contributors! I purchased all of the parts mentioned above and was able to replace the first adapter with a swivel Krontec that has a 3/8" output from the same vendor since I'm using Krontec jacks.

Progress picture from the cage builder using the Harris regulator and the Amazon AL tank. Still need to decide on the tank strap, add in hose and wand holder. He said it's a PITA to build and see why the Paoli ones are so expensive.

My local Air Gas is filling one of the AL cylinders and should be back in one week from the filling depot. They don't have the extension hoses for the remote regulator and need to find a solution for that soon.

Project complete and just waiting for the custom Raterman hose to connect the regulator to the tank for the custom cart. Here's the part numbers and can be ordered from one of their distributors (ie air-gas) or if you have your own company. I'll report back if the hose doesn't work after the two week wait time to make it. Definitely saved a lot of money vs. buying the Paoli gear.

Looks good.

In addition to the money savings from the trolley, you also saved a bunch by not being tied to a Paoli regulator.
